How to login and create an Easy Bib account
Instructions and Information For Signing on to EasyBib
We have used the free version of Easy Bib for years and many of our students already know the basics of using this site. I purchased a subscription to the site so teachers and students can access more of the wonderful tools they offer. Saving their bibliographic info and helping to format their “Works Cited” pages being just a couple of them.
To get started, participants need to do the following:
If they are new EasyBib users: (Basically all our students will fit into this first category.)
Please click on this link and then enter an email and password in order to register. http://www.easybib.com/auth/register/index/coupon/enmhsbib
After the first time, they will not need to use the link, just visit our main site, www.easybib.com log in, and we will recognize them and open the premium content. It is not necessary to access from a campus computer.
If they are existing EasyBib users:
Please visit www.easybib.com and log in using the email and password you registered with initially. From the projects management page, click on the words "coupon codes" on the upper right side and type in: enmhsbib Their access will immediately upgrade.
Please visit our instructional guides page where you'll find guides for educators and for students, as well as tutorials and information that walk users through the benefits of and how to use EasyBib's School Edition features. There is also a great FAQs page that offer answers to common questions.
Important support features and highlights of School Edition include:
· Website Evaluation -- Shows student what factors to consider when examining a website's credibility.
· Learn Cite Tool -- Pops up to the right of an input box in a citation form. Provides targeted help.
· Analyze Feature -- Examines the quality of a bibliography and helps students improve their score(s).
· Research Tab -- Helps students explore and narrow down a research topic.
· Notebook -- Digital note-taking in a user-intuitive space.
· Sharing Function -- Collaborate with others, or allow a teacher to comment on a student's bibliography.
· Importing Citations From Databases -- Students now have an easy way to add citations from various databases to their EasyBib bibliographies.
· Source Guides -- Click "help" on a citation form for source definitions, examples, and direct links to forms.
· Educator & Student Guides -- Lesson plans that tie to Common Core Standards, and printable guides that compliment your classes.
· Administrative Features -- See School Analytics to monitor a student's usage of EasyBib or use Student Search to check in a student's account or reset their password. You can even customize some features of your EasyBib platform to promote library resources.This feature can be enabled for your account upon request,
